This is a drawing my bestest friend/beta-reader Melissa drew me for my birthday. She is unable to have a DeviantArt account at the time, so she's given me permission to post this for her. However, the rights are still hers. I DID NOT DRAW IT!!!! I'll let her respond to any of your comments, so be aware that the replies aren't from me, but from the actual artist. Remember: I DID NOT DRAW THIS BUT I DO HAVE PERMISSION TO POST IT!!!
Beautiful picture, she did a wondeful job. The detail is great I love the angle she chose and that look in his eyes. Is his eyebrow slightly raised? You friend is very talented.

QWouldn't this go under portraits, and not people? Because I doubt she did it from memory... If she did, that's awesome. She's got talent if she did do this by memory.

This is the best birthday gift I could ever hope to receive. I hope you see all these comments, which were posted within about five minutes of me posting it, and know that you are extremely talented and loved by all. Keep on drawing, dreaming, and being the awesomest person ever.
You Rock,
Kelly
PS- Don't forget about that career in the medical field, too (lol)

It takes a whole child to raise a village, but, as the US Airforce has known for many years now, it only takes one child to raze a village.
DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Deviousness Award is an accolade which is traditionally handed out on the 1st of every month to one trully outstanding deviant. `Cyantre is one of the most helpful deviants within our community. With a positive attitude and a resourceful mind, you can always find him providing support and encouragement to those in need. Always looking for ways in which he can get more involved in our community, John's positive presence is to be aspired to. A well respected poet, John is a must-have on your deviantWATCH to make sure that you don't miss out on your dose of community inspiration.
